Hi. I’m Elaine L. Hubbard in Huntsville, Alabama. I am an artifact genealogist as well as 20-year-plus veteran of family history research in the United States (with emphasis on the South), Eastern Canada, Ireland, and Scotland. My travels have taken me to over 45 countries and territories and to all but two of these United States.
I hold a BS Degree in Theatre Arts and have 28 years of professional experience in journalism, word processing, computer marketing and sales, and corporate intellectual property for a Fortune 500 company. Research and accurate reporting has been fundamental to all my career vocations and lend themselves particularly well to genealogy research centered not just on families but their possessions.
I am a member of The National Genealogical Society (NGS), The Association of Professional Genealogists (APG), The New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEHGS), The Alabama Genealogical Society (AGS) and a member of First Families of Alabama, The Meriwether Society Incorporated (TMSI), and a life member of Clan Morrison Society of North America.
